| Maurice Sporting Goods is a well established Wholesale distributor of fishing
tackle, shooting sports accessories, hunting, camping, gift, and other outdoor
sporting and athletic goods. We are the largest Wholesale Sporting Goods
Distributor in the country, offering our customers true nationwide service
through our network of four warehouses.
Maurice was established in 1923 by our founder, Maurice Olshansky, as a Sporting
Goods outlet in downtown Chicago. Our first expansion was to Atlanta in 1973,
followed by Dallas in 1976, Harrisburg in 1988, Reno in 1991, and Toronto in
1994. We were the first distributors in the country to computerize. We were
also the first to make extensive use of planograms, to pre-ticket, and to
