This system addresses the unique requirements of store level replenishment allowing Maurice Sporting Goods to get the right items into the stores at the right times. Its ultimate purpose is to increase sales with an optimal inventory level. Specific benefits include:

Maurice Sporting Goods inventories over 50,000 fishing, hunting, marine, camping, fitness, licensed and outdoor themed gift SKU’s from every national manufacturer and hundreds of key regional manufacturers.

Historical sales analysis and coordination with the manufacturing community is key to developing a promotional plan that combines manufacturer advertising with regional sales trends.

We have collected consumer purchase data from virtually every major retailer in the Sporting Goods categories. This information is a critical component in enhancing retail productivity resulting in improved item level forecasting, assortment planning, promotional planning / tracking, and the identification of in-season sales opportunities based on changes in consumer demand patterns.

The Maurice marketing department provides a wide range of support to some of the largest retailers in both the United States and Canada. Retail customer assignments typically include strategies for simplifying the purchase at the point-of-sale, local, regional and national category promotions designed to drive sales in peak periods, and the coordination of grand opening events planned around a particular category for maximum exposure in a new market. All initiatives are strategically based on retailer category objectives and corporate imperatives.

Big Game International, Maurice’s international product development division complements the Maurice assortment. South Bend®, Matzuo America®, Mossy Oak Hunting Accessories®, Shoreline Marine® and several other key private brands are driven by BGI. Our internal product development team works closely with our Asian and domestic manufacturing facilities to offer a significant savings to the consumer while maintaining the highest product standards.

Our Big Game International division works with several major retailers to develop private branded products and packaging. Private label products allow each retailer to target specific price points at above average margins.
